Imperfectly Me
by Dana-May Winthrop
Writing is therapeutic for my mind and soul. My poetry is the cold, hard truth of what is going on in that time frame of my life. But do take into account that the only time I write is often times when I am at my lowest of lows. Meaning take everything I say with a grain of salt after all I love my family first and foremost. To those who have stuck by me, thank you. I hope our society will change for the better. I see a lack of cohesiveness, binding together to help one another. Instead we would rather point out everyone's flaws but our own. I challenge you to do something worthwhile, to do something greater than yourself for the benefit of helping others. Best of Luck!
