The Glump and the Peeble
by Wendy Meddour and Rebecca Ashdown (Illustrator)
The glump lives all alone in his cave, deep in the wood, wishing he could come out and dance with the peebles. Meanwhile, a peeble wishes she could be quiet and thoughtful -- like a glump. "Try not to be nervous," the peeble says to the glump. "You can't be frightened of things you've not tried." When they become friends it turns out the two creatures have a lot to teach each other! This funny picture book about the power of friendship teaches children it's fine to be different.
